Best Form Lenses
Special
Optics Best Form lenses are designed from fused silica to have
the best (or least) aspherical aberration. This is achieved by
polishing both sides to different radii optimized for an infinite
conjugate source. The lenses are optimized for minimum spot size
and can theoretically reach diffraction limited performance for
small input beam diameters. Our negative focal length lenses are
asymmetric biconcave.
